Children's Sunday School (2 years old through 8th grade)- Summer classes are 2 yr old's - 7th grade

Memorial Lutheran Church offers Sunday school classes to students two years old through 8th grade.  All of our classes have the purpose of teaching young people the Christian faith.  All students use The Small Catechism (CPH, 2017) as a basic text.  In addition, students two years old through 4th grade use CPH's Sunday School curriculum for class.  Students 5th grade through 8th grade use CPH's Bible History.

All of our Sunday school classes are taught by members of MLC (usually parents).  Each class is managed by two adult teachers.  All teachers go through a screening process before being admitted to class.

Background Check.  Please download, fill in, and return this form (Background_Check_Authorization_Form.pdf) to the Sunday School Superintendent.

Sunday Morning High School Bible Class (9th through 12th grade) Summer classes are 8th-12th in the Youth Room

9th through 12th graders have their own Sunday morning bible class in the MLC youth room. The class is led by our associate pastor and occasionally by other guest teachers. The aim of our classes is to strengthen teens' faith by addressing their questions and helping them grow in their knowledge of the Scriptures. The class meets year round during the Sunday School hour, from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Donuts are included!

Sunday Night Confirmation Class (7th and 8th grade)

7th and 8th graders preparing for admission to the Lord's Supper take class during the school year on Sunday evenings. The class begins in August and meets until May from 5 to 6:30 PM. These classes are for members who are not enrolled in Memorial Lutheran School. MLS students receive instruction during the school day.
