Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF)
This group is for all high school age students. The goal of LYF is to allow our youth to grow in their faith through fellowship and service. LYF has sent high school mission teams to work in New York, Alabama, and Mexico City.

In an effort to involve teens (LYF) in Bible study and a life of service with their fellow believers, the Youth Board would like to make you aware of programs offered to Memorial’s youth.
- It is important that children come to Sunday School and church every Sunday to establish a healthy practice that will continue throughout their lives. The teachers are working to make the faithful teaching of God’s Word captivating and interesting for the youth.
- Our JYF and LYF groups have vibrant leaders working to make events fun and service projects meaningful. The groups have enjoyed paintball, laser tag, bowling, and movies but most importantly have participated in service events at the Brookwood Community and Krause House.

Middle School (JYF) and High School (LYF) age kids are looking forward to the fantastic youth room currently being built in the new building. The JYF and LYF will use the room as a gathering place especially on Fridays (for JYF Friday nights) and on Sundays. A place to call their own will help our young members learn to love socializing and serving at church with their Christian brothers and sisters. |
