What Memorial Lutheran Means to Me . . .
Coming from a small town, I expected my move to Houston would mean that I
would find myself lost in a large congregation. After an extensive review of
LCMS churches in the area I found Memorial to provide a unique combination of
faith, fellowship, and familiar faces in an atmosphere that is always welcoming.
From the moment I walk onto the campus until the time I leave, I find myself surrounded
by friends who have decided to make Memorial their home for these
same, simple reasons. The church offers countless opportunities to share and enhance
one’s understanding of our Lord’s Word while allowing its members a
close-knit, family setting for worship. I know that the upcoming capital campaign
will allow the congregation to carry Christ’s message and work into our
community and further foster the mission that Memorial Lutheran Church has
made a tradition for half a century.

“After this I looked and there
before me was a great multitude
that no one could count,
from every nation, tribe, people
and language, standing
before the throne and in front
of the Lamb. They were wearing
white robes and were
holding palm branches in
their hands.”
Revelation 7:9
