The Board of Fellowship provides coffee service on Sunday mornings, lunches for the Adult Instruction classes on Sunday afternoons, dinner for Christian Education Night attendees, as well as planning and hosting multiple social events throughout the year for our congregation.
One event
sponsored was a Christmas party costing only a toy to attend. Toys were give to the “Its my Heart” founder to distribute to children suffering from congenital heart defects and their families through Texas Children’s Hospital.
Valentine’s day is a great event for singles and married folks. We don’t want anyone to ever feel left out of this event.
Our 2007 Mothers’s Day celebration demonstrated how important mothers are to each of us. A guest vocalist sang a variety of music hits, tributes were spoken and the guests enjoyed karaoke with the youngsters teaching some of the adults a bit about line dancing.
