MLS Academic Quest Winners – held at Lutheran High North January 30, 2008
Lutheran High North hosted its annual Academic Quest competition on January 30, 2008 and our MLS students did very well this year. Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 compete in individual grade-specific academic events and open events such as literature, weather, measurements, etc. The day concluded with the team event - each school was allowed 5 team members (no more than 2 from each grade) and was required to answer timed questions from all academic areas. We are so proud that MLS placed 4th in the team event - way to go! The "team event" members were 8th graders Nicolas Amenedo and Jaime Rivera, 7th grader Isobo Amaso, and 6th graders Donna Elassaad and Caspar Flinder
