Jess Thacker originally from Omaha, Nebraska, graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska in 1992, where he met and married his wife, Angie. He taught 4th grade at a Lutheran school in Leavenworth, Kansas for 13 years. He taught 2nd grade in a public school last year. Jess enjoys coaching, fishing, building, and just working with his hands, however, his true love is in the Christian classroom with kids, and is he is very excited to be part of the Memorial family.
